User information system
A free 24-hour telephone service has been set up (900 125 125 from Spain; 0800 91 60 33 from France). The service recorded information about the status of the road and the tunnel at all times both in Spain and in France.
This same information service is also responsible for providing information about the status of the tunnel and its access roads to the competent authorities, including town councils, tourism offices, the media, the Civil Guard and Civil Protection. In France information is also available through the INFOROUTE service.
Information about the tunnel will also be available, in both Spain and France, on the Variable Message Signs along the roads leading to the tunnel.
Since the 31st May 2021, the Consortium of the Bielsa-Aragnouet Tunnel has been replaced in all its obligations and rights by the new public entity EGTC Pirineos-Pyrénées:
